I probably just need to upgrade (which is the plan real soon - stealing tomalok's old dual athlon) but I thought I would check to see if anyone else has issues with adobe acrobat 5 - it kinda keeps crashing stuff and using all my cpu which is very annoying...it mostly happens when I have firefox open...they don't seem to play well together. For example, I'll be browsing and come across a pdf file, click on it which will load adobe, and then usually end up having to kill adobe in order to be able to do anything else on my box.

and If I use gnome pdf viewer to read pdf files, it sometimes doesn't read to the bottem of the file.

so - yes an upgrade will happen cos it probably is my cpu speed, but i just thought i'd ask..
